Each of the A.R.T.S.® Local Artists are recognized for their superior performance in one or more of the Köppen climate regions. It is difficult to find a rose, or any plant, that excels in all climates. Therefore, regional trialing and regionally-determined awards are crucial in helping people identify well-adapted cultivars for their local area. You’ll want to consult our climate map to see which of these Local Artists will perform well in your neck of the woods. After clicking on roses, you’ll find a link to the rose’s helpmefind page. At this site under the right most tab called “buy from” there are some mail order sources where the rose was recently sold. Please consider asking your local garden center to consider getting your regional winning roses you would like in and encourage them to learn about the A.R.T.S.® program and all your regional winners.
